EC-Earth 3.3.4 Release notes
============================

EC-Eart 3.3.4 has been released. This minor release brings several bug
fixes, a tuned High Res configuration and support for the new ECMWF HPC
in Bologna.


UPDATED CONFIGURATIONS
----------------------

* EC-Earth3-AerChem
  - Fix units of NOx emissions (emilnox, #998)
  - Fix computation of max ozone at the surface (sfo3max, #1052)
  - Switch to python3 for TM5 scripts (#1005). *NOTE* Python3 is needed
    to compile TM5 and at runtime

* EC-Earth3-HR
  - Tuned version (#995, #653)

TECHNICAL
---------

* Fixes for save_ic library (#825)
* New platform available: ecmwf-aa (#993)
* MareNostrum4 update for standalone NEMO at high resolution (#1009)
* ECMWF-cca update for OSM (#1001)
* Fix data documentation (#421, #1060)
* Minor corner case fix in script template (#999)
* Test Suite: This release has been technically validated with a set
  of short experiments (#1075)
* Python3 version of ec-conf
